Easy Yoga Sundays 10-11am @ Moana

Sundays were made for taking it easy :) Do you love simple yoga that gently moves your body? These easy Sunday morning classes are offered to give you the opportunity for some self care.  Recommended for: Beginners and expereinced welcome. This is an open level class and you are encouraged to gently challenge your body and always work within your limits. Featuring Kundalini Yoga this class may contain floor, seated and standing postures. Costs:  1 Class Pass - $15/$10conc. 5 Class Pass (Valid during term) $50/$40conc. Refunds available until 1 day prior to event through eventbrite. No refunds for non-attendance Cash payments at class are available - choose 'offline/pay at door' payment method at checkout A typical class may include: ‘Tuning in’ with the Adi Mantra chant (Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo)  Breath practices A ‘kriya’ (which is like a prescribed set of body postures and exercises) Deep relaxation Meditation Ends with a projected healing meditation (May the longtime sun – song) A little bit about Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan)... You’ll usually find a Kundalini Yoga instructor dressed all in white (including a head covering) and they will direct the class but won’t single you out, or move around the room and adjust you into a posture. During class you are encouraged to work with your body’s uniqueness, and make the postures your own, closing your eyes when you’re comfortable with the exercise, and turning your awareness and attention into your body. For more information about attending a class, see my blog – Kundalini Yoga Practice Guidelines here I do have some props (mats and blankets) available, but I recommend you bring your own – so they can soak up your ‘yoga vibes’. What to bring: Yoga mat Blanket for relaxation Cushion for meditation/sitting if you wish Water bottle An open mind and willingness to give it a go – even when it seems a bit kooky :) I also have a small range of books and equipment available for purchase - credit/debit cards and cash accepted. Other Mardi MAY sessions include Mindful Movement and Meditation Groups - for more info visit www.mardimay.com.au  Thanks for your interest! In gratitude, Mardi  FAQs Where do I find you?
