      Meditation Groups Do you: Struggle with stress? Have trouble relaxing? Find it tricky to calm your busy mind? Mardi’s meditation groups offer a place to share meditation with like minded friends. During the sessions Mardi will explain different principles of meditation week by week, guide you through 1-2 meditation/s, and encourage home practice. Meditation is often referred to as technique to help bring more mindfulness into our lives. Mindfulness is the practice of living in the present moment – where stress can’t flourish! There are many ways to practice both mindfulness and meditation, and attending group with Mardi will give you the opportunity to experience different practices – so you can find out what works for you. Sign up for weekly reminders, updates and extras here Time: 12-1pm (approx. depending on discussion & questions) Costs:  1 Class Pass - $15/$10conc. 5 Class Pass (Valid during term) $50/$40conc. Refunds available until 1 day prior to event through eventbrite. No refunds for non-attendance Cash payments at class are available - choose 'offline/pay at door' payment method at checkout A typical session may include: Discussion on various aspects and priciples of meditation and/or mindfulness Various practices of different styles of meditation/mindfulness Classes are non-religious but may be spiritual in nature Complementary practices and ideas for a healthy life Time for sharing and questions For more information, about getting the most out of your practice, see my blog –  Meditation Practice Guidelines here Most people choose to sit on chairs for meditation, and you are also welcome to sit on the floor. Yoga mats and blocks are available, or bring your own firm cushion/props. What to bring: Cushion/props for meditation/sitting if you wish (chairs are provided) Water bottle An open mind and willingness to give it a go I also have a small range of books and equipment available for purchase - credit/debit cards and cash accepted. Head into Woodcroft Morphett Vale Neighbourhood/ Community Center and follow the signage down the back of the building to room 4. Reception is available at the front of th building if directions are needed. A bathroom and filtered tap water are available at this venue. If you are new please allow a little extra time to find your way. Where should I park? Plenty of free parking is available both in front of the community center, and in and around the shoping center next door. Please allow a little extra time at peak lunchtimes to find a park and make it to class on time.   Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you do not need to print any tickets - I'll have your booking ready Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes, you can transfer your ticket/pass to someone else, just let me know. Class passes can also be used by multiple family members/partners. Meditation Workshops Mardi also offers workshops that cover topics around meditation and suggestions for making meditation part of life – a healthy habit.
